Relax and unwind at the beautiful Mediterranean-inspired Villa Elena. Located on the iconic Tween Waters stretch of Captiva Island, this house has access to both the pristine Gulf beach and the abundance of wildlife on the bay. There is plenty of room for a large family or group, comfortably accommodating up to 10 people. Everyone will enjoy the recently updated décor and the open single-story floor plan containing four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The light-filled master bedroom has a king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom and French doors leading to the tropical courtyard. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with en-suite bathroom. Third bedroom has two twin beds along with en-suite bathrooms. There is a fourth bedroom containing two twin beds. The living room offers a new queen sleeper sofa and smart TV.

The updated kitchen with granite counters offers plenty of room to gather. You will find it is well equipped for all your cooking and entertaining needs. When your meal is ready, enjoy it in the oversized dining room or in the screened-in terrace complete with a dining table, lounge area, fountain and fireplace. No usage of fireplace please, fountain switch to turn on and off is located in master bedroom.

A short walk down your shell lane leads to either the beach or the bay for island fun. Enjoy some relaxation at the house in your private heated pool. Poolside loungers and market umbrellas are provided for your outdoor comfort. Villa Elena has a washer and dryer, gas BBQ grill, cable/WIFI, beach cart with beach chairs and umbrella, plenty of pool and beach toys, board games and books.

  A total of 5 people spanning 3 generations spent the week at Villa Elena. The property was spacious, well maintained, and conveniently located near the beach. Some of the appliances could be upgraded. We all made good use of the private pool, and grand daughter particularly enjoyed cavorting on the beach. A note to fisherman : If you want a fighting chance at landing a big fish from the dock, you will need a long handled net and extremely stout tackle. The dock sits 3-4 feet above the water, and there are numerous pilings which will enable a sizable fish to break you off. Some big snook were seen at first light right off the dock, had I hooked one on a 30 lb. outfit I would have had to get in the water to try to stay clear of numerous obstacles. Small snook or slot reds would have likely been manageable.

  Villa Elena is on the best beach in Captiva. Just across the street you will have a private beach all to yourself. Love how the pool is right off the front door! Overall, very convenient location and comfortable house. Fun puzzles and games! Our family of five had a wonderful time! A/c works great! Access to private beach and pool and a dock are special.

  Villa Elena is a perfect getaway. Beautiful home providing all amenities needed for a great vacation. The beach cart and beach access was fantastic. The pool area was perfect for us and the kids and having that to use at any hour was a huge bonus. Villa Elena is quiet, private and the inside is very clean with a well stocked kitchen.
  We loved having the option of the day pass to Tween Waters as another place to enjoy time with the family and others.

  This is an amazing home, with all of the amenities we could have hoped for. Lots of very lovely decorated space for our family to spread out. The screen porch was an extra bonus, and the pool area was our favorite. It was always a wonderful temperature for us and the toddler we had with us. Kitchen was mostly well stocked and beautiful (you need a decent can opener though). Loved the master suite, but think the mattress is a bit tired. The other bedrooms were wonderful for our family and it was nice to have extra TVs. Everything seemed very clean and well maintained. The interior was nicely updated and the book shelves were fun to look through.

  Our stay at Villa Elena was perfection. The home is perfectly situated between the Gulf and the Bay, and a short distance to Captiva restaurants. The villa itself is a beautiful, spacious, quiet property rich with character and well appointed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable vacation. Our family of four enjoyed meals on the back patio, star-gazing from the back terrace and sunning by the front pool. And the sunsets on the beach are not to be missed! We truly enjoyed this Mediterranean-style retreat in the heart of Captiva - highly recommend!

  Captiva is in surprisingly good shape and the house is unchanged from last year with the exception of wind damaged trees and bushes. The beach is in perfect condition, and it was remarkable to have it all to ourselves. We had another amazing family vacation, and we will be back next summer.

  We enjoyed a 2 visit to Captiva post hurricane. While the island is much quieter and there is significant construction going on..... we had a relaxing an enjoyable stay at Villa Elena. To us the island will always have a unique charm. Things are slowly reopening ..... we are planning to to return next Spring.
  The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.... and the home was extremely clean and escaped any damage.

  This home is wonderful. It has a great location with a quick walk to the beach, and a fun golf cart or bike ride to restaurants. The owners have done a great job making the home "special" with side yards and patio areas that were really great. We would definitely return.
