  My wife and I rented "Blue Sky Escape" in the Lake Murex subdivision on Sanibel Island for the month of February 2024. We were very impressed with the home, the furnishings and a beautiful outdoor pool. While Sanibel is still recovering from the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, the home has been fully repaired and beautifully landscaped. It is in a central location on the gulf side of the island and while not on the beach, the walk to the shore is just over half a mile.
