HOUSE FEATURES
This Captiva Island penthouse villa is beautifully appointed with hardwood floors, granite countertops, a full kitchen, a large living room and dining room overlooking the landscaped pool and spa below. It has 2 bedroom, 2 baths, and is a third-floor unit. This is not a shared accommodation. It is the entire 3rd floor of the Celebration House, a 5,000 square foot home on Captiva Island within walking distance to the beach. There is a private entrance and exit.

Each of the two bedrooms has their own bathroom; one bedroom with a king-sized bed and the other with a queen-sized bed. The 2nd bedroom has its own private entrance and exit. On one side, the Celebration House is just a short stroll to the famous Captiva Island beach on the Gulf of Mexico and the inter coastal on the other side.
There's plenty to see and do on Captiva Island. Simply relax, take a nice stroll along the beach searching for shells or if you are feeling more adventurous, rent kayaks and get an up close and personal look at the local birds, dolphin flitting about and much more.

  We stayed for a week in the Celebration House Penthouse which is conveniently located within walking distance from the beach, restaurants, live music, market, and excursion dock. We enjoyed the additional benefit of using the pools, hot tubs, and kayaks at 'Tween Waters. The apartment is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with a dishwasher and laundry facilities. The description did not indicate whether beach chairs and umbrellas were provided, but they were. It also did not tell us that the penthouse is up several flights of stairs, which for us was not a huge issue but it could be for others. Our parking space was not clearly marked and there were times that the lot was full. We placed a cone in a spot one morning when we left, but someone took it out. One of the bathroom sinks did not have cold water working and the lights above the kitchen stove don't work, but everything else seemed to work. The kitchen chairs are WAY too big!!! Our biggest complaint is that there were no kitchen towels, napkins, or a broom and dustpan to sweep up sand throughout the week.
